Employee education and good plan design help CUs adapt to healthcare reform.

“We decided to take a strategic plan toward ACA for our organization and our employees,” says CUES member Lauren Edrington, benefits director of the $998 million/91,000-member Jacksonville-based organization. The CU didn’t just want to make sure its 261 employees knew they were going to have insurance coverage; it also wanted to educate them on how healthcare reform was going to affect them.
