Member News

Community Involvement: Employees from Align Credit Union, Lowell, Mass., donated toiletries, including razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving cream and shampoo, to Pathfinder, an organization that serves the area’s homeless population. The CU has one CUES member.

FedChoice Federal Credit Union, Lanham, Md., has raised $1,790 to support the Federal Employee & Education Assistance Fund, an organization that helps federal employees during times of need. After the government shutdown plus the furloughs from earlier in 2013, FEEA’s resources were tapped out from the overwhelming demand for federal employee hardship assistance. The CU has 13 CUES members as part of its CUES Advancing Management Group Membership.

GECU, El Paso, Texas, is offering five free online financial education videos available in both English and Spanish on its website.  The CU has 15 CUES members as part of its CUES Executive Group Membership.

Genisys Credit Union, Auburn Hills, Mich., was the premier sponsor for Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency’s Walk for Warmth event. Additionally, CU members and employees raised over $27,000 to assure neighbors stay warm during the winter. The CU has two CUES members.
