Dettmann has 35 years of professional service as a human resource consultant, executive and teacher. Direct consulting experience includes providing human resource/compensation consultation to public, private, and not-for-profit employers. Services provided include compensation strategy development, design and implementation of comprehensive pay systems, executive compensation including the development of short and long-term incentive programs, as well as management and supervisory training. Dettmann holds a BBA degree in General Business, which he received cum laude from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and a MBA from Drake University, with emphasis in General Management and Accounting.
In addition to his consulting activities, Dettmann also serves as a part-time faculty member at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Cartwright is president and CEO of Intelligent Compensation. He has over 30 years of diversified experience in compensation and human resource management, and he currently serves as a board member of the Texas State Council for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Texas Association of Business. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Edwards University, and he has accumulated a number of post graduate courses in business management. He is extremely active in the community, serving on a number of boards and committees of several business and professional organizations, and is listed among the International Who’s Who for Entrepreneurs.
