Peter Paulson has served as a Corporate America Family Credit Union employee holding various positions within the organization for the last 21 years. In 2007, Peter was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the credit union. He is also the Chairman of Corporate America Financial Services, Inc, which is Corporate America’s credit union service organization.
His previous role as Executive Vice President required the oversight of all Planning and Support Services. Business units under his supervision included Collections, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Lending, Marketing, Member Services, Operations, Sales and Training.
He has held several other noteworthy positions at Corporate America including Director of Information Technology, Training/Marketing Director, Branch Manager and Operations Administrator. Before joining the credit union, Peter worked for Glenbrook Credit Union and Greater Iowa Credit Union.
Peter achieved an MBA from Loyola University - Chicago and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Iowa State University. He served on the Faculty of Columbia College teaching undergraduate accounting courses.
He served as a Director of the Illinois Credit Union League Service Corporation, plus he was on the board with the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity and he served on the Filene i3 Group, a hand selected group of “next generation” leaders who collaborate on creative innovations for credit unions nationwide.
Peter serves on the American Management Association (AMA) General Management Council for Growing Organizations and he is a member of the Credit Union Executives Society. He also serves as Director of the Illinois Credit Union League, Chairman of the Fox Valley Chapter of the Illinois Credit Union League, and Director of The Hope Group, Corporate America’s philanthropic organization.
