Member News:

Acquisition: Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, St. Paul, Minn., is acquiring a branch located in Eagan, Minn., and 4,300 member accounts from Oak Trust Credit Union, Naperville, Ill. Affinity Plus has seven CUES members as part of its CUES Executive Group Membership. Oak Trust CU has one CUES member.

Appointed: Glenn Barks, president of First Community Credit Union, Chesterfield, Mo., has been appointed chairman of the St. Louis Federal Reserve’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.

Honored: Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, employees have voted the organization into a spot in the top 100 American workplaces, as researched by WorkplaceDynamics. Out of 872 organizations reviewed, the CU was ranked 95 in the category of companies with more than 1,000 employees. The CU has four CUES members.

Merger: Badger Campus Credit Union, Madison, will merge into Landmark Credit Union, New Berlin, Wis., which has one CUES member.

New Position: Jesse Boyer is the new SVP/division executive for REALTORS® Federal Credit Union, a division of Northwest Federal Credit Union, Rockville, Md. Boyer served as the EVP/COO/CIO of REALTORS® FCU prior to its merger into Northwest FCU this past summer. In his new position, he is responsible for supervising the day-to-day functions, long-term strategy, and everything in between for the new division.

Catholic Family Federal Credit Union, Wichita, Kans., has hired Michael Taylor, EVP/operations manager at Northwest United Federal Credit Union, Arvada, Colo., as president/CEO. He succeeds Marilyn Wells, who retired after 25 years with the credit union.

Community Involvement: Genisys Credit Union recently sponsored the Young Professionals Mixer in Auburn Hills, Mich. Over 40 people attended the mixer, which was created to connect the millennial generation to the workforce and sharpen their networking skills. The CU has two CUES members.

CUES Supplier Member News: Pentegra Retirement Services, White Plains, N.Y., has announced that Michael Palmiere has joined the organization as SVP/chief operations officer. He will oversee Pentegra’s actuarial services, defined contribution services, information technology, trust services, and TPA operations areas.
