  2. ELIGIBILITY.  This offer is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. This offer is not available to residents of Puerto Rico and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of CUES, [its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies] and immediate family members are not eligible. The offer applies only to elections held between January 1, 2013 and June 30, 2013.

  3. SELECTION OF WINNER.  Winners will be selected by a random drawing the week of December 17, 2012, from all eligible entries. Entrants need not be present to win.  The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.  The winner will be notified by telephone within 7 days of the drawing, and must return a confirmation of receipt within 14 days of receiving notification or forfeit his or her prize, in which event an alternate winner will be selected. The winner shall grant CUES the right to make available his or her name for all that inquire.  To receive the name of the winner, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to CUES at the address shown.

  4. PRIZE.  One online election, not to exceed $12,000 in retail value. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.  CUES will set the dates for the election in coordination with the winner within 60 days of its receipt of the winner's confirmation of receipt form. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. CUES expects between 1 and 50 participants of which one prize will be available.

No responsibility is assumed and entrants waive all claims for lost, late, or misdirected entries resulting from any cause, including telephone or computer malfunction.  All entrants, without limitation, waive any right to claim ambiguity or error in these rules or in the conduct of this contest.  All entrants release and hold harmless CUES, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind in connection with this offer, or any acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize won.
