Entry Procedures & Rules

  • Download the GMA Checklist and Entry Form (Page 1, Page 2).

  • Complete one Entry Form (Page 1, Page 2) per entry and one Checklist per credit union. An agency entering on behalf of a credit union must complete a Checklist for each credit union.

  • Entry must have been distributed to members for the first time, and final results obtained between January 2008 and December 2008. If results are not available, please save the entry for the 2010 competition.

  • Each entry must have been created solely for the entering credit union:

    • Pre-existing advertising or stock design materials that can be purchased or customized do not qualify for entry.
    • No campaigns/programs/marketing pieces that were originally produced for another organization may be entered in any category.
  • Each entry form and its supporting materials must be submitted in a separate manila envelope, except in the following categories which should be submitted in a binder:
    • image enhancement
    • public relations
    • staff programs
    • Web site

Entries can also be sent in electronically on a CD, DVD, PDF, etc. IN ADDITION to the actual materials. This will assist judges and with the presentation quality of winning entries.

  • All materials submitted become the property of CUES and will not be returned. Winning entries will be displayed at CUES Experience™: Immersion Learning for Marketing, Technology & Operations Leaders, April 14-17, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Denver and on cues.org.
  • Please read and sign your entry form.
  • If an entry does not comply with all competition rules or is incomplete, it will be disqualified without refund of entry fees.

*Add $30 for each entry received at CUES after December 19, 2008. All entries must be received on or before January 9, 2009. To qualify for member pricing, the credit union must have an executive on staff who is a CUES member. Click here for more information about joining CUES.

*Add $25 for each entry in the Coordinated Campaign Category and for the GMA Golden Shoestring award.
