Obituary
Gary Raddon, founder of Raddon Financial Group, a strategic business unit of CUES Financial Suppliers member Open Solutions, passed away on July 29. Raddon formed RFG, a strategic research and consulting firm, in 1982. In this role, he became a well-known industry expert and speaker. He served on the faculties of several state banking schools and authored a book, Developing New Financial Products. RFG was acquired by Open Solutions Inc. in 2006.

Retirement/New Position
Edwin J. Collins, president/CEO of $588 million LGE Community Credit Union, Marietta, Ga., will retire, Dec. 31. Chris A. Leggett, LGE Community CU's EVP/chief financial officer, has been appointed as Collins' replacement.

Rico Bautista has been named president/CEO of $100 million, 15,000-member GHS Federal Credit Union, Binghamton, N.Y. He was formerly SVP/chief information officer at $193 million Altier Credit Union, with 28,000 members, Tempe, Ariz.

New Facilities
$310 million BMI Federal Credit Union with 29,000 members Dublin, Ohio, has opened a new headquarters at 6165 Emerald Parkway in Dublin.

$800 million Xceed Financial Credit Union, with 80,000 members, has recently celebrated grand openings for four newly redesigned financial centers: one in El Segundo, Calif., the credit union's flagship location; one in Lewisville, Texas; and two in the Rochester, N.Y., area.

People Helping People
Bay Federal Credit Union's team of 96 employees—nearly half of the credit union's 200 employees—raised $5,549 for the American Cancer Society and participated in its signature event, Relay for Life, July 18 and 19 in Aptos, Calif. Bay FCU was a major sponsor of the event.
