Golf: Francis H. I'i Brown North Golf Course
Tuesday, Feb 4 1:00 p.m. shot gun start
Don’t miss your chance to play on this fabulous course, named a Golf Week Magazine Best Courses to Play 2013!
Built on a lava bed, the Francis H. I'i Brown North Golf Course is characterized by rolling terrain punctuated by Kiawe (mesquite) forests. A 230-acre protected archaeological district lies on the northern boundary of the golf course, and herds of feral goats frequent the course, moving from hole to hole throughout the day. The north course has fast become one of the most popular tournament venues on the island. Hole number 17, a par three tucked into a natural lava amphitheater, is one of Mauna Lani Resort's signature holes and a favorite "I was here" photo spot.
Cost of $225 per golfer includes greens fees, cart, and lunch.
Whale Watching Excursion
Monday, Feb. 3 12:30–4:00 p.m.
Experience the excitement of the humpback whale! Your private charter will depart from A-Bay (Anaeho’omalu), where you will board from the beach. Depending on tide heights, you may need to walk through knee deep water to board. Once on board, highly trained naturalists will answer all your questions as experienced captains maneuver the stable catamarans so you can get the best photos. Hydrophones will be dropped below the surface so you can hear the eerily beautiful whale songs. You’ll enjoy lunch and an open bar on board.
The price for this tour is $225 per person.
Afternoon at Kahua Ranch
Wednesday, Feb. 5 12:30–6:30 p.m.

Enjoy spectacular panoramic views, local Kona beer and wine, soft drinks, steak and chicken barbecue lunch, and live Hawaiian music. Then, several options await. You can pitch horseshoes, try branding, learn to lasso, join the ranch history tour via tram, or take an ATV or horseback adventure (extra charge for ATV and horseback adventure). Our afternoon winds down with the sunset, cocktails and memories of a one-of-a-kind day on the Big Island.
