Photographic Treasure Hunt
Monday, February 2
12:30–5:00 p.m.


If you’re looking for a fun and unusual way to discover Old San Juan, team up with your colleagues on a Photographic Treasure Hunt. Not only will you discover the history of the second oldest settlement in the New World in an interactive way, you’ll also be involved in a great exercise in group dynamics! The per person registration fee of $185 includes treasure hunt supplies, transportation, box lunch, prizes for the winning team, and a light reception as you work on your final presentations.

Night Kayaking in the Bioluminescent Bay
Monday, February 2 and Tuesday, February 3

Kayak the waters that glow with bioluminescent micro-organisms. First, we’ll paddle across the small fishermen’s cover to the entrance of the Las Cabezas de San Juan Reserve, then we’ll enter Laguna Grande where you will paddle along the edge of the mangrove forest, and can watch the sparkling swirls of water created by the paddles flow through the water, and search for streaks of light created by darting fish. Registration fee is $155.

Bacardi Distillery Tour
Tuesday, February 3
12:30–4:00 p.m.


Visit the world’s largest distiller of natural spirits, located on beautifully manicured grounds on the south side of San Juan Harbor. You’ll learn about rum making, and learn to prepare the first three cocktails ever created with Bacardí at the cocktail lounge, a replica 1920’s Cuban bar. You’ll also have the opportunity to view some of Bacardi’s greatest commercial ads, and send video e-mails. The tour ends with complimentary rum drinks and time for the Rum N’ Things gift shop. Prior to arriving at Bacardi, you will enjoy a Puerto Rican lunch at Raices. Registration fee is $95.

Catamaran and Snorkel Sail Adventure
Wednesday, February 4
12:15–5:30 p.m.


Head to the eastern tip of the island, approximately one hour from the hotel, and board a catamaran at one of Puerto Rico’s beautiful private marinas. We’ll head off on a leisurely cruise to a tranquil uninhabited isle, where you can beach comb, collect shells, swim, and snorkel in the crystal clear water. The registration fee of $225 includes box lunch, transportation, sailing, snacks and beverages onboard, and snorkel gear.


Half Day Trip to El Yunque Rainforest
Tuesday, February 3
12:30–5:00 p.m.


El Yunque is the 3,500 foot peak within Puerto Rico’s Caribbean National Forest. Covering 28,000 acres, El Yunque the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. El Yunque is home to a variety of local Puerto Rican wildlife, but perhaps the most famous is the Amazona Uttata, the Puerto Rican Parrot, and the Coquí (ko-kee), a tiny frog which sings his name, Co-Qui-i-i-i! Registration fee is $105 and includes hike, a stop at the El Portal Visitor’s Center, transportation, and box lunch.
