I attended CUES School of Business Lending in 2003, and implemented a member business lending program later that year. In 2004, we launched a successful indirect lending program, which has become the third largest component of our loan mix.

My name is Bob, and I am CUES.

I joined the staff of NorthCountry Federal Credit Union as a branch manager in March 2000. In 2001, I was promoted to VP/lending and given the responsibility of developing and implementing new lending programs.

NorthCountry FCU has always been progressive, with a strong lending culture willing to take calculated risks that benefit the member. CUES member John Benoit, NorthCountry FCU’s CEO, and I attended CUES School of Business Lending in 2003, and implemented a member business lending program later that year. In 2004, we launched a successful indirect lending program, which has become the third largest component of our loan mix. We have continued to be forward-thinking and innovative in our willingness to accept risk and bring new lending programs to our members.

I became a CUES member in 2001, and since then CUES has been a critical part of my professional development. I attended CUES Management Institute I and CUES Center for Applied Executive Management (now CUES School of Applied Strategic Management). I received my Certified Senior Executive (CSE) designation in 2005. In 2006, I discussed my professional development with Benoit, who recommended that I enroll in the CUES’ CEO Institute. This recommendation was based on his own experience attending CEO Institute a few years earlier.

I was promoted to executive vice president in 2007, and my education with CUES will continue this year when I attend the CUES School of Risk Management.

My name is Bob Morgan, from NorthCountry Federal Credit Union, and I am CUES.
