Credit Union Executives Society

I believe the Credit Union Executives Society is instrumental in moving careers forward.
The executive education from CUES creates exceptional opportunities for credit union leaders—and they are a bit of an industry secret.
Last year I attended CEO Institute I: Strategic Planning at the Wharton School in Pennsylvania. I’ve attended other “executive-style” programs—and they were good, but CUES is top-notch and much more relevant for credit unions. And, I think that’s where the real benefit lies. There’s genuine value for credit union executives through superior courses with world-class professors.
One big advantage to being a CUES member is the access to the networking. As a Canadian, it’s good to see what the U.S. is doing. Through collaboration, you can learn what others are doing, and customize processes to your own operations.
The research material produced by CUES has also helped me take a look at where we are going as a credit union. I highly recommend reports from CUES. They can help you identify shortfalls, or verify that you’re going in the right direction, giving you validation.
Thanks to CUES, I’ve learned about new practices as well as some of the new models that are being presented.
I have encouraged others to join; plain and simple, CUES is for credit unions.
