Keynote Speaker - Eric Durrance, Nashville Recording Artist, Writer, Lead Singer of Tobacco Road Band
Tobacco Road Band was formed by Eric Durrance, CMT artist and co-writer of Jake Owens' top 10 single "Eight Second Ride". The four-piece, hard rocking Florida country band hit the ground running with their first single, "Stiff Drink". It received a lot of airplay on country radio stations and soon the band was packing bars and clubs around the southeast.
The band has opened shows for Josh Turner, Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Jason Aldean, Cole Swindell, Brantley Gilbert and many more. The band also teamed up with Colt Ford in the studio to record their smash hit, "That's Country".
Jamie Strayer, Founder of CU Strategic Planning
Jamie founded CU Strategic Planning in 2008. She develops innovative, effective lending programs to increase impacts and ROA. Her background as a former PBS producer and cooperative idealism aligned in her service as a past publicist for the World Council of Credit Unions and leadership resulting in national credit union underwriting of the PBS program, BizKid$.
Jamie is one of several hundred Credit Union Development Educators and one of less than 100 with a prestigious international (ICUDE) designation.
She is a regular speaker at state and national credit union conferences, as well as the African American Credit Union Coalition. Her research is published by the Filene Research Institute and featured in the Huffington Post.
Trey Rudder, VP of Strategic Balance Sheet Management at Corporate America Credit Union
Trey Rudder is currently Vice President of Strategic Balance Sheet Management Department at Corporate America Credit Union. The SBSM department is responsible for measuring and monitoring Interest Rate Risk for Corporate America, member facing Asset Liability Management, member lines of credit and other member facing solutions. Trey has been at Corporate American for 5 years and has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. Trey has done numerous speaking engagements including previous CUES events.
Mike Blanchard, CEO, Blanchard Consulting Group
Mike Blanchard is the CEO of Blanchard Consulting Group. He has extensive experience in the human resources field and has conducted or supported over 500 compensation planning and market research projects in the financial services industry over the past 20 years. Before founding Blanchard Consulting Group, Mike was a founder of Blanchard Chase, Managing Director with Amalfi Consulting, and a Vice President for Clark Consulting. With graduate studies in advanced industrial and organization psychology, Mike's areas of expertise encompass multiple disciplines within executive and staff level compensation plans.
Haydn Trechsel, Shareholder, Williams Gautier
Haydn earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brown University in 1976 and his Juris Doctorate from The University of Virginia School of Law in 1979. Haydn practiced law in Birmingham, Alabama for 30 years and is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Alabama. For the last several years, his practice has been devoted almost exclusively to representing credit unions in Florida and Alabama in compliance, corporate, contract and other legal matters. Haydn's practice focuses on providing regulatory and legal compliance assistance to the firm's financial institution clients.
