Tucson Federal Credit Union ($435M in assets) located in Tucson, AZ has launched a nationwide search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Primary responsibilities include: oversight of Accounting and Finance, Information Technology (IT), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Facilities. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be an influential member of the credit union’s senior leadership team, developing strategy and driving the execution of key initiatives. Successful candidates will be first and foremost an advocate for and a developer of people. The CFO will be charged with managing the credit union’s financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, asset liability management, financial analytics and profitability. Ideal candidates will have experience working in a highly collaborative, non-hierarchical environment where community volunteerism and a commitment to work hard and play hard are core values. Must have attributes include: strong communication skills, with experience in public speaking and facilitation; a proven track record of managing and developing a high performing team, and a broad understanding of accounting principles. A Bachelor’s degree is required, CPA or CMA preferred. Qualified candidate will have at least ten years of progressive work history, including five years leading people and eight years working in a financial institution.
