Community Manager

CUInsight

, Remote Office

USA

Position Description

CUInsight, the leading partner in distributing content to the credit union system, is seeking a Community Manager to take industry thought leadership to the next level. Reporting directly to the CEO/Publisher, the Community Manager works across all functions of CUInsight to build a stronger credit union community. From day-to-day, this might look like identifying new thought leaders to provide content and working closely with existing contributors to set and manage a schedule that inspires our readers, representing CUInsight at industry events, or making referrals that maximize return for our partners. (S)he has a strong writing competency and is energized by helping partners share their story (and their value) to prospective clients, always connecting the dots between thought leadership, reader engagement, and what it takes for credit unions to succeed. You are the right fit for this role if you thrive on tight deadlines and lots of information, never missing a detail or an opportunity to make something just a little bit better than it has been. If you are equally energized about working with a team to maximize results and performing well from your remote office, you might find your perfect environment with us. The ideal candidate will also possess a college degree, the capacity to build great relationships, and initiative that allows him/her to thrive in a remote work environment. If you bring us a bit of experience writing, telling stories, or connecting with others in the credit union space, we will help develop you into an expert in the credit union community. If this sounds like the perfect way to move your career forward, helping strengthen an industry that you care deeply about, apply by sending (1) a cover letter that explains why you will be a great fit for this role, (2) your current resume. If you are selected for the next level of screening, we will request a writing sample of up to 900 words related to one issue you believe the credit union industry must address to stay relevant in the next decade. Benefits and pay are competitive for similar level positions.
