Dover FCU is growing fast! We are building our finance team in order to support that growth with a newly defined role of Financial Analyst. As a key member of the Finance Team, the Financial Analyst will collaborate within the Finance Team and across the organization to ensure healthy financial management-- within policies and regulations—informed by data and reported with transparency.

Reporting to the AVP, Finance & ALM, the Financial Analyst works closely with leadership to prepare monthly financial reports and quarterly analyses for the ALM Committee and Board. This will include: Effective balance sheet management, income forecasting, capital adequacy functions and understanding interest rate curves under changing scenarios. You will develop a thorough understanding of the organization’s interest rate risk, including earnings at risk, basis point value, change in market value, and net interest income sensitivity.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the accounting of the investment portfolio, safekeeping, and monthly reconcilements of cash and investment related accounts. You will oversee the management of our growing Investment Portfolio, working with Investment Brokers to monitor, recommend, and complete purchases/sales while planning for future funding needs of the credit union and maximizing investment income.

Being enthusiastic about data and experienced in bringing together data from multiple sources to support decision making and strategic planning will be key to your success. The ALM/Business Analyst will help refine how we use data across the enterprise to improve processes and service, assisting in the implementation and maintenance of the Credit Union’s Data Governance program.
