Century Federal Credit Union (CenFed) is looking for a new lending manager. This position reports directly to the chief lending officer and supervises the loan processor, junior loan underwriter, credit analyst, and mortgage loan consultant. The lending manager performs various duties to support the lending department in compliance, operational efficiency, and workflows. The manager trains team members, monitors the retail lending compliance environment, and ensures that the department complies with current state and federal regulations.
The lending manager oversees all operational functions of the lending department, including monitoring performance metrics, loan pipeline management, dispute resolution, staff training development, and compliance. The lending manager will formulate and maintain a loan procedure manual for the lending department that is up‐to‐date with all regulations and requirements. The lending manager will manage department staff by setting schedules, approving leave time, reviewing performance, recruiting internal applicants, counseling, and corrective action.
Candidates must have an above-average lending skill and knowledge; knowledge of banking processes is preferred. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Top candidates will have advanced knowledge of credit union loan policies, procedures, and credit-granting practices. At least 5 years of loan experience in a credit union or financial institution is required.
