Are we the place for you?
At Greylock Federal Credit Union ($1.4B, Pittsfield, MA) we are guided by our IDEA principles – Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility – to support a workforce that reflects our community in western Massachusetts, Columbia County, New York, and Bennington, Vermont. We have a mission and goal of building a diverse workforce - reflecting multiple identities - and supporting the diverse communities where we are based.
Our team is deeply committed to three key components: High quality financial services for all; placing the member first; and meeting people where they are. Each of our employees holds these principles at the heart of how they serve. Our VP-Business Banking has the opportunity to live these daily in leadership to his/her/their team and in connecting with the businesses we serve. Aligning with these principles and our core values of passion, compassion, integrity, creativity, stewardship, and fiscal responsibility will make Greylock and you a right fit.
Is this the role for you?
As the VP-Business Banking, you will provide strategic vision and leadership to the business banking team. You are energized by seeing others grow and will work alongside your team to create success. By establishing an annual business development plan and local market goals, you will create an environment that motivates and inspires your team of 4 direct reports to extend banking services to the businesses that make our communities thrive. Superior communication skills will help you connect effectively with direct reports, other Greylock leaders, and the community and members we serve.
Your strong commercial lending background (including business development, credit underwriting, and deal structuring) combines with a heart for economic development and a passion for supporting business owners in achieving their dreams. You will love this career if you believe that stronger communities are built by stronger businesses and if you take pride in helping provide the resources—and credit—that businesses need to succeed.
Your coaching style will integrate well with our inclusive management principles and your commitment to equitable practices will ensure your approach to employees and members is always rooted in equitable, fair, and compliant practices.
