Mission Federal Credit Union ($3.8B in assets) in San Diego, California is recruiting for a Vice President of Card Services to strategically lead their credit, debit, ATM and purchase card portfolios. The VP will lead their departments to ensure efficient operations and ensure compliance with policies, rules and regulations. He/she will be responsible for researching, analyzing, recommending and implementing operational, technology and product/service enhancements. The VP will work closely with marketing to devise and implement strategies to enhance the growth and profitability of the programs. Responsibilities include day to day management of systems and processes to ensure optimal functionality and sound practices. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, or another related field is required. Two years equivalent experience in a financial institution, which includes Credit/Debit/ATM management, can substitute for everyone year of education. A minimum of 5-8 years of management experience with a minimum of 5 years in the financial industry with full range Credit/Debit/ATM Cards processing experience is required. Extensive knowledge and experience with Visa/MasterCard/ATM Network rules and regulations. Extensive knowledge of PC based word-processing and general windows-based applications with a high level of proficiency in all applications is required. The ideal candidate would have experience working with First Data Resources, PSCU and Star ATM networks and would be able to manage multiple areas of responsibility. Additionally, project management experience is preferred.
