You will earn up to 37.5 Continuing Professional Education credits for attending CUES School of Business Lending™ I: Business Lending Fundamentals.

At CUES School of Business Lending I you’ll learn about accounting basics, price/cost/volume analysis, capitol budgeting techniques, tax return analysis and more.

At CUES School of Business Lending II you’ll learn about financial statement analysis, industry sector risks, business life cycle and more.
The schools in this program must be taken in order. Make sure you have attended school I before you attend this school.
At CUES School of Business Lending III you’ll learn about realistic projections, effective credit memorandums, identifying credit risks and how to negate their impact and more.
The schools in this program must be taken in order. Make sure you have attended schools I and II before you attend this school.

The objective of the School of Business Lending 1: Business Lending Fundamentals is to provide participants with a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and discover how management accounting techniques are used in daily business operations. CUES School of Business Lending teaches the foundation for understanding the basics of business finance, including: Nine Principles of Accounting, Accounting Systems, Income Statements, Cost, Price, Volume Analysis, Balance Sheets, Statements of Cash Flow, Capital Budgeting Techniques, Entity Structures, and Tax Returns.
This is a 4-week online course containing: lectures, quizzes, and case studies on CUES Learning Portal, live Zoom discussions, and a private cohort-specific discussion board on CUESNet. Participants will spend approximately 10 hours each week on the course. In the CUES Learning Portal pathway you will be able to view the estimated time for each section.
Participants will apply the skills and knowledge learned in the course through knowledge checks, quizzes, case studies and discussions.
Cancellations:
All cancellations must be in writing (events@cues.org). Substitute attendees are welcome, subject to eligibility. CUES reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances and will refund fees if the Program is rescheduled and you are unable to attend.
