April Ales brings more than 20 years of experience in the credit union movement and is a passionate leader dedicated to helping organizations grow, lead, and thrive. Her experience spans both league and national roles, where she has championed member engagement, leadership development, and strategic impact across the industry.
April is recognized for her authentic, people-first approach and her ability to inspire action while delivering results. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Criminology from Florida State University and a Juris Master from Florida State University College of Law with an emphasis in Financial Regulation and Compliance. She is also a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE).
