Shreenath Regunathan is CEO of Starlight, a benefits navigation platform that helps credit unions connect members to financial assistance programs. He previously spent 10 years at Google as a product leader in ads. As a Blue Ridge Labs fellow in 2022, he spent 6+ months embedded with low-income New Yorkers — biking across the city, sitting with families, and helping them navigate benefits they already qualified for. The work exposed a systems failure: $100B in government benefits go unclaimed annually while 1 in 3 Americans can't afford a $400 emergency. He founded Starlight to close that gap, building the infrastructure to connect families to real financial support via their credit union.
