The CUES Emerging Leader Award is presented annually to the winner of the CUES Emerge competition—a prestigious recognition celebrating a rising credit union professional who demonstrates exceptional leadership potential, innovative thinking, and commitment to the credit union industry.
Who is Eligible?
To be considered for the CUES Emerging Leader Award, candidates must:
- Be accepted into the CUES Emerge program
- Complete all program requirements, including developing a business case
- Enter the competition phase and present their business case during the online pitch show In October

What Does the Winner Receive?
Prizes include:
- Trophy
- Complimentary registration to the CUES Advanced Management Program from Cornell University

About CUES Emerge
CUES Emerge was created to offer free professional development to the industry’s up-and-coming leaders. Participants who complete the coursework and business case earn the Certified Credit Union Manager (CCM) designation in recognition of their commitment to their career, credit union and the movement.
