Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ALM & Investment Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Asset/Liability Management (ALM), liquidity risk management, fixed income investment analytics, and the CECL accounting standard. The individual will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of Corporate Central’s integrated balance sheet management and optimization platform, as well as conducting in-depth analysis and validations of Credit Union balance sheet risk management functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Corporate Central’s integrated balance sheet management and optimization platform
  • Perform periodic ALM modeling, including Net Economic Value (NEV) and Net Interest Income (NII) modeling for Credit Unions
  • Customize ALM models with credit union assumptions, risk limits, and policy guidelines
  • Conduct assumption sensitivity reporting and deposit simulation reporting
  • Perform comprehensive scenario modeling for impacts on liquidity risk and create customizable budget projections
  • Create optimization scenarios with a deep understanding of Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), Treasury, Agency, and other fixed income marketable securities
  • Conduct comprehensive investment analytics
  • Perform in-depth analysis and validations of Credit Union balance sheet risk management areas in support of consulting functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in ALM, liquidity, investments, CECL, and budget modeling
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
