Position Description

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Revity Credit Union
$450M Assets
Granite City, IL

Revity is our revitalization for the future. Revitalization with integrity, with longevity, with positivity, with community, with accountability.

Revity Credit Union (Revity CU) is a community-powered credit union: big enough to provide convenience and small enough to offer our neighbors customized financial services to meet their ever-changing needs. Founded in 1941 Revity CU has served the Granite City Steel mill workers as a source of loans and basic savings products, growing to over $450 million in assets, serving more than 36,000 members with eight branches. Revity CU is forward-thinking, member-focused, and driven to building a financial legacy of strength for generations to come.

As Revity CU is a beacon for continuous revitalization, it is seeking its next visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who is dedicated to the overall success of the organization and the local community. The CEO is a forward-thinking visionary who prioritizes member needs, propelling the credit union into the future while honoring its rich history. Collaboration with the board is imperative for strategic visioning, enabling the infusion of creativity and foresight into the credit union’s growth and expanded reach across the 18 counties it serves.

Establishing a strong community presence and leadership in the local and regional areas, including within the Illinois Credit Union League, is essential to enhancing the organization’s visibility and reputation statewide and nationally. The CEO serves as a financial leader, adeptly balancing the needs of the members, employees, and the credit union while safeguarding the organization's financial soundness. It is paramount for the CEO to cultivate positive relationships with the union representatives and leverage the organization's existing internal skills to drive success.

The CEO will embody a strategic blend of attributes: steadfast yet adaptable, humble yet confident, eager to both learn and impart knowledge, even-tempered, humble, flexible, willing to learn, and willing to teach. Built on our core values of Service, Trustworthy, Resilient, Empathetic, Neighborly, Growth-minded, Transparent, and Honorable, the CEO creates a strong and healthy corporate culture that engages and retains employees, helping to build a legacy for the future.
