Lincoln County Credit Union is seeking a candidate with direct loan approval authority and decision-making experience beyond loan origination or processing. The ideal individual will be skilled in analyzing loan data and making informed, risk-based lending decisions. Strong judgment is essential, particularly in evaluating potential lending risks.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with strong judgment, risk analysis skills, and broad lending experience, including business lending. They must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to thoughtfully assess lending exceptions by balancing borrower and collateral risks.

This hands-on role covers a wide range of duties from opening new accounts to originating 30-year mortgages. The candidate should be familiar with CECL requirements and experienced in managing IRA programs, including coordinating with third-party vendors and generating necessary reports. Additionally, the Senior Loan Manager will represent the credit union during audits, regulatory examinations, and meetings with the board and senior leadership, providing expertise and leadership in lending operations.
