As the head of HR, the VP will lead efforts to foster a culture that prioritizes service, inclusion, collaboration, and results-driven performance. This role will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring that Financial Partners attracts, retains, and develops a diverse and high-performing workforce. The VP of HR will act as a key advisor to the executive team, driving HR initiatives that align with the long-term goals of the credit union.

In addition to leading HR strategy, you will ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and applicable regulations. Your deep understanding of labor relations and a proactive approach to managing compliance risks will be an essential support for CU’s organizational growth. Your forward-looking leadership will be key in implementing innovative HR practices, and ensure that the HR function continues to enhance the employee experience and overall organizational success

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience are required. Industry-specific certifications such as SHRM and SHRM-CP certifications are also required; preference will be given to candidates with a strong understanding of human resources legal frameworks and California-specific law.

The starting salary range is approximately $137,537.40, up to $229,229.00 annually.
