Award Overview

CUES Distinguished Director honors strong volunteers whose achievements have strengthened their credit union. 

Who is Eligible?

Candidates must: 

• Be a current CUES Director member. 
• Be nominated by a current CUES member. 
• Have rendered exceptional service and/or made outstanding contributions to strengthen their credit union and/or the industry 
• Have not received this recognition previously.

Applications are now open. The deadline to apply is June 13, 2025.

What Does the Winner Receive?

Prizes include:  

• One complimentary registration to CUES Directors Conference 
• In-person recognition and trophy presentation at CUES Directors Conference 
• $1,000 to the charity of your choice  
   

Recognition: 

• In addition to the above, winners will be celebrated through: 
• A featured article on cumanagment.com 
• Promotion on CUES channels 
• An in-person interview with CUES CEO, Heather McKissick, focusing on leadership and contributions to the credit union industry
