Organizational Psychologist, Senior Executive Coach and University Lecturer

Harvey Floyd II is an organizational psychologist, senior executive coach and university lecturer who specializes in the areas of diversity and inclusion, leading and managing complex change, executive development, and team performance. Over his career, Harvey has forged and facilitated strategic change initiatives in organizations such as the YMCA, Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), Booz Allen Hamilton, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Currently, Harvey holds a Lecturer position in the University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics Program, and Wharton Executive Education, where he teaches on Diversity and Inclusion in 21 Century Organizations. As an Executive Coach at the Wharton School, Harvey coaches cross-industry leaders in signature programs including, the MBA, Executive MBA, Executive Development Program (high performance team coaching), and General Management Program. 

Harvey is also a Senior Executive Coach at AIIR Consulting, and an Adjunct Faculty in the U.S. State Department’s School of Leadership and Management at the Foreign Service Institute. 

Harvey has also consulted on national and strategic change initiatives for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Office of Organizational Effectiveness. Prior to this, Harvey served as a Leadership SME in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Strategic Innovation Group. 

Harvey is also a Strategic Advisor at GeniusMesh, a startup that leverages artificial intelligence technology and algorithms, to match executive MBA talent (from top tier institutions) with hidden executive positions. 

Additionally, Harvey serves on the advisory board for GenHERation, a network that provides young women in high school and college with access to female executives at some of the nation’s most innovative companies

Harvey has a Master degree in Organizational Psychology and Change Leadership from Columbia University, and a Bachelor degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 

He received coach training at Teleos Leadership Institute (neuropsychology, emotional intelligence, intentional change, adult development and systems theory), the Center for Creative Leadership, and Columbia University.
