Friends and Family Credit Union ($108M; Massillon, OH) is seeking our next Accounting Manager, as a result of the incumbent being appointed as our new President/CEO!
Since 1958, our credit union has been serving the people of Stark County, Ohio. With over 11,000 members and growing, we work every day to help our friends and family access the financial products and services they need to succeed.
Founded as a credit union for school employees and expanded to serve all people in Stark County in 2001, we believe in credit unions’ cooperative model.

The Accounting Manager plays a critical leadership role in our credit union, partnering to create an environment that helps all areas of the credit union meet our members’ needs. Well-grounded in accounting principles and clear on balance sheet strategies, the Accounting Manager will help drive the financial success of the organization.
Cross-functional, organizational understanding and collaboration will help you succeed at Friends and Family Credit Union. These skills will contribute to your success in working with other team members and in engaging with auditors and examiners to demonstrate regulatory compliance and clear understanding of audit practices. The Accounting Manager is responsible for preparing financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), conducting month-end, quarter-end, and year end book closings, and preparing and filing assigned regulatory reports. Familiarity with NCUA Call Reports is helpful. Some understanding of Asset Liability Management (ALM) will aid you in contributing during Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) meetings.
