Founded in 2015 by three visionary leaders of state credit union trade associations, Plexcity provides associations with greater efficiencies through use of shared talent, resources, and applications. Our professionals bring decades of experience in their respective fields, resulting in a team that delivers a level of expertise that is often out-of-reach for individual organizations. We are passionate about optimizing the performance of our clients’ back office operations, allowing them to focus on their core strategic drivers while we automate, streamline, and enhance the back-office experience. We offer HR, IT, and Accounting/Finance solutions—all in an environment that encourages collaboration among our 23 clients and owners and under the strategic guidance of our Board of Directors: Credit union league presidents who represent our client-owners.
Is This The Role For You?
Reporting directly to Plexcity’s President/CEO, the Chief Operating Officer provides day-to-day leadership for business operations in the Information Technology and Human Resources product areas. The COO is a key partner to the CEO in developing and guiding the strategy of Plexcity, and the primary driver of executing and implementing established strategies to maximize value and relevance to our clients—making sure clients and the Plexcity team have exactly what they need to achieve their mission.

You will recognize how emerging technology can improve performance, collaboration, and communication across workplaces and will be excited about developing strategies that ensure the best solutions are available to our clients. Extensive business management experience and success in setting goals, analyzing performance (using a variety of data and metrics), and motivating teams to reach those goals—all within budget, on time, and in a manner that delights our clients—will have prepared you to take on this position.
A key part of Plexcity’s long-term succession plan, the COO will understand all strategic priorities of Plexcity, creating and supporting a motivating culture and a vision of excellence. An exceptional communicator and intentional relationship-builder, the COO will assist in new business development, manage partner/vendor relations, and cultivate meaningful connections with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
