Superior Choice Credit Union is looking for a strategic, collaborative leader with strong culture and organizational leadership, human resources/human capital as a strategic group within the culture of trust and service commitment. The CPO is tasked with setting and executing the strategy to build a Corporate HR function responsive to the financial services industry’s ongoing needs. Reporting to the President/CEO and as part of the Executive leadership team, the CPO is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing the culture change management & development strategy to support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the credit union. The CPO will oversee the areas of culture and change management, talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational and performance management, learning and development, executive and employee compensation and benefits, employee relations. The CPO will also enhance, champion, and support the credit union’s culture.
The CPO will oversee the complete HR and Marketing Operations. The CPO role is strategic in nature and must drive cross-functional collaboration and efficiency. Strategic initiatives include refining talent acquisition practices and protocol; creating employee engagement protocols and using the data to best engage the employee population; define the credit union’s compensation philosophy such that compensation is a magnet for top talent; and create a learning and development curriculum to ensure employees are effective, productive, and prepared to serve the credit union’s membership, and managers are effective and influential leaders.
Education and Experience required: Minimum of 10-15 years of HR leadership experience in organizations of scale, with at least five years in leadership positions in organizations with employee populations in multiple locations. SPHR or PHR Certification preferred, Bachelor’s Degree required.
