Due to the retirement of the long-standing incumbent, KCU is seeking its next President & CEO.
Reporting to KCU’s Board of Directors, the President & CEO provides sound business leadership in the execution of the strategic plan and serves as the key resource and advisor to the Board on policies, risk limits, regulatory interpretation and compliance, governance and planning. The CEO leads a diverse and talented team and has full accountability for all decision making regarding KCU’s operations, ensuring that KCU maintains high levels of employee and member engagement and profitable growth in accordance with its mission and values.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned, trusted, and forward-looking financial industry leader who is passionate about member and employee engagement. You are highly strategic and bring a proven record of making sound business decisions that have achieved organizational growth and service excellence. Extremely visible and engaging both internally and externally, you are deeply respected for your outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills that are rooted in openness and integrity. Your sound governance knowledge and previous experience reporting to, or serving on, a board of directors will be of great value, as will your skill in identifying opportunities for efficiency and organizational growth while exploring KCU’s digital future. As a leader, you are aspirational, transparent and approachable. Previous experience working within the credit union system is an asset.
