Senior Vice President of Business Services
There is an exciting opportunity at AEA Federal Credit Union (AEA) for a senior vice president of business services (SVP business services). The SVP business services provides supervision and support to the commercial/member business lending activities, oversees commercial and member business lending portfolio management. This role is responsible for the analysis and evaluation of financial information, structuring loan proposals (extensions, renewals, modifications), recommending loan purchases, and sales. This role oversees financial and management reporting, developing and maintaining a member-centric culture, ensures loans are serviced timely and accurately, and works with Collections and Accounting with loan loss reserves, delinquency, short sales, and acquiring assets due to foreclosure.
The SVP business services oversees the recruitment, development, retention, and discipline of staff and chairs the business credit committee. The SVP business services operate in the credit union’s best interest and will complete all assigned compliance training and education requirements.
Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. 10-15-years in commercial/member business lending and analysis, SBA lending experience is desired. Previous work experience in a bank or credit union working directly with commercial clients, assessing credit risk, funding loans, and overseeing commercial/member business loan cycles and portfolios are required. Candidates must have experience building loan participation networks and generating both loan participation sales and purchases.
