This is more than a retail leadership role; it is an opportunity to step into a highly visible, mission-driven position at a respected, community-rooted credit union. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and serving on Greylock’s Senior Leadership Team, the Senior Vice President, Retail Services, will guide the strategic direction and performance of Greylock’s branches, contact center, ATM/ITM platforms, and member-facing technologies.
The individual in this role will set the vision for deposit growth, member retention, and service excellence, and will work closely with peers in Finance, Lending, Marketing, and Risk to ensure integrated strategies across the organization. A proven ability to partner with ALCO on deposit strategies and pricing will be essential, as will experience in collaborating with Marketing to align product and business development efforts.
Greylock has significantly grown its SEG base, and this role will be responsible for sustaining and expanding those relationships through a strong business development mindset. The successful candidate will also represent Greylock at community events, civic engagements, and industry forums, continuing our long-standing tradition of visible, values-based leadership. Above all, this role calls for a leader who inspires teams, builds trust, and motivates others to achieve excellence in a manner consistent with Greylock’s inclusive and member-focused culture.
Help Us Get to Know You
We are seeking a strategic and inspiring retail leader with at least ten years of experience in deposit, loan, and retail financial services, including demonstrated success leading a complex branch network and retail strategy. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry and leadership experience is required, and ongoing executive development is preferred. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in deposit strategy, business development, and community engagement, along with strong financial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively across executive functions. Experience in credit unions is highly valued, and consumer lending expertise would be a welcome bonus.
The successful candidate will be a motivating presence who can connect with employees, members, and community partners, and who leads with integrity, inclusion, and mission-driven focus. The role is based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, with in-person leadership and community presence required. Hybrid flexibility is available, but this role cannot be performed remotely.
The targeted salary range for this position is $197,000–$235,000, with compensation commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
