What You’ll Do
As CFO, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team and be responsible for CWCU's financial strength, liquidity, and profitability. You’ll lead our Finance, Accounting, Audit, and EFT teams, focusing on data-driven planning, regulatory excellence, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, asset/liability management (ALM), and investment strategies.
Guide strategic planning with sound financial analysis and forecasting.
Ensure the safety, soundness, and regulatory compliance of all financial operations.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, examiners, auditors, and community leaders.
Drive initiatives that improve organizational efficiency, member value, and service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a forward-thinking and collaborative finance executive with experience in credit unions or banking, and a deep commitment to service, compliance, and innovation.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in Finance, Treasury, or Accounting within a credit union or financial institution.
Proven experience managing ALM, liquidity, and investment portfolios.
5+ years of people leadership, mentoring, and team development.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s or CPA/CFA/CMA preferred).
Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and comfort working across cross-functional teams and community settings.

Base Salary: $185,000-$265,000
