Position Description

Build the future of learning at Mirastar Credit Union

At Mirastar, we believe that exceptional member experiences start with empowered employees. We’re looking for a Senior Talent Development Partner to help shape how our teams learn, grow, and succeed.

This is a senior-level individual contributor role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution. You’ll design and optimize our learning ecosystem, creating impactful training programs that elevate performance, strengthen our culture, and bring our service philosophy to life.

Reporting to the VP of Learning & Development, you’ll lead through influence, not authority, partnering across the organization to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant learning solutions.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll play a key role in building a learning experience that is modern, engaging, and aligned to our mission:

  • Design and implement enterprise-wide training programs that support employee performance and member experience
  • Partner with leaders to identify performance gaps and create targeted learning solutions
  • Enhance onboarding to ensure new hires feel connected, prepared, and inspired from day one
  • Develop curriculum across key areas including member service, lending, systems, and compliance
  • Manage and optimize Learning Management Systems (LMS), including reporting and analytics
  • Establish instructional design standards and best practices for consistency and scalability
  • Support organizational initiatives such as system implementations and change management efforts
  • Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve programs using data and feedback
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver high-impact learning experiences

What You Bring:
You are equal parts strategist, builder, and collaborator, with a passion for developing people:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in training and development, including hands-on and virtual facilitation
  • Strong background in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or similar)
  • Experience managing and optimizing LMS platforms and eLearning tools
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring training effectiveness
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Knowledge of credit union operations, products, and regulatory requirements is a plus

Who You Are:
You embody the values that make Mirastar unique:

  • Hungry – You are driven, curious, and always looking for ways to grow and improve
  • Humble – You lead with respect, collaboration, and a team-first mindset
  • Smart – You navigate complexity with strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and insight

Why Mirastar?
This is your opportunity to build something meaningful. You won’t just deliver training—you’ll shape how learning happens across the organization and directly impact the experience of both employees and members.

Location & Work Style
This role is based in California and may offer a flexible work arrangement. Occasional travel is expected to support in-person training initiatives.
