This highly-interactive seminar will give you the opportunity to explore the four pillars of good governance—strategy setting, board process, board makeup and fiduciary oversight—and learn how to transition your board’s mindset from oversight to futurist.

Through a combination of lecture, practice and group work participants will get beyond agenda-setting and tiebreaking to work on what really make chairs matter. This session is appropriate for any current or potential board or committee chair. We will build on concepts from the Director Development Seminar–attendance at DDS is recommended, but not essential.

Due to financial obligations incurred by CUES, no refunds or credits will be issued on cancellation requests less than 30 days prior to the start of the event. Substitute attendees are welcome, subject to eligibility.

CUES is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
