Learning Outcomes: Participants will be able to articulate the role and importance of the Supervisory Committee, understand its historical evolution, and recognize its relevance in today's credit unions. Skills Developed: Understanding committee roles, historical context, and current relevance.

Key Responsibilities of Committee Members
Learning Outcomes: Participants will learn to identify and understand the key responsibilities of a committee member, comprehend legal and ethical obligations, and apply this knowledge in practical scenarios. Skills: Identifying responsibilities, legal obligations, and ethical standards.

The Practical Work of a Supervisory Committee Member
Learning Outcomes: Participants will develop skills for effective committee membership, encompassing task management, meeting facilitation, and role-specific responsibilities.
Skills: Building capabilities in areas such as time management, prioritization, effective meeting conduct, agenda setting, and leadership.

Learning Outcomes: Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of their responsibilities, learn the role in risk management, and apply this knowledge to case studies. Skills: Deep dive into responsibilities, risk management role, case study application.

Opening Session: Risk Management and Audit Governance for Supervisory and Audit Committee
What do the issues at SVB, FTX, and Well Fargo all have in common? They all suffered from significant lapses in governance and audit management. When Audit functions fail, unexpected events will always catch institutions off guard. In this timely opening session, Ancin Cooley, with Synergy Credit Union Consulting, will draw from his experiences as an examiner, board consultant, and strategic planner to provide insight on how to audit functions can help institutions grow fast while also maintaining a reasonable risk profile.
